This year I will be taking part in a number of activities to help raise monies to support Cure Cancer Australia and the Ryde AUSSI Masters Swimming Club.
The first activity is the Ryde AUSSI Masters Swimming Club Annual Swimathon on Sunday 15 March 2015. The club has chosen this charity as we all know people, including club members, who have been affected by cancer. Funds raised will help with cancer research. Monies raised from the swimathon are split between the club and Cure Cancer.
After the swimathon, I am planning to continue my fundraising for Cure Cancer Australia. My plans as to which events will be 'fundraisers' are still being decided.
The activities that I am planning are the following:
- City to Surf on Sunday 9 August
- WALKING THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA in October 2014
- Also planning an overseas swim in Asia immediately after the Great China Walk.
Cure Cancer Australia helps fund Australia's brightest early-career cancer researchers working across ALL types of cancer.
Any contrinbution you could make to help me raise money for this very worthy cause would be much appreciated,
